At Fredhopper we are looking for skilled Java engineers experienced with cloud development. In this role you will design and implement our mission-critical, automated cloud software infrastructure. Being 100% quality driven, you will tackle large scale challenges, drive service performance and reliability and orchestrate complex software systems that directly impact many of the largest American and European retailers. You will work in a highly dynamic environment, in which you will refine and adjust challenging requirements during the complete development process.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud-based services, e.g. based on Amazon WebServices or Rackspace
• Experience in developing highly available and production critical services
• Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting distributed systems
• Strong Java programming skills
• Proficient in Linux/Unix environment, TCP/IP network protocols and network analysis
• Good knowledge of English language
• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent
